All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur) is an autonomous public medical college and research institute located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Established in 2012 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), the institute is one of the apex healthcare institutes in India, operating autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The institute spans over 151 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to provide world-class medical education, cutting-edge research facilities, and comprehensive patient care services. AIIMS Jodhpur serves as a tertiary care referral hospital for the entire Western Rajasthan region, handling complex medical cases from neighboring districts and states.

Advancing Medical Science Through Research

AIIMS Jodhpur has established itself as a hub for medical research with focus areas including infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular diseases), cancer biology, neuroscience, and public health. The institute has secured over ₹50 crores in extramural research funding from national agencies like ICMR, DBT, DST, and international collaborations.

Our research infrastructure includes Central Animal Facility, Advanced Molecular Biology Laboratory, Biostatistics and Epidemiology Unit, Central Instrumentation Facility, and a dedicated Clinical Research Unit. The institute publishes over 300 research articles annually in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
